Omega Ministry - Summary of Activity - 2008

The Omega Ministry primarily supports national pastors who are in the first two or three years of their ministry. Since its inception in 2000, the Omega Ministry has distributed over $1,500,000 for this cause. We rejoice in God’s goodness and for his provision for this ministry. In 2008, the Omega Ministry supported 174 people with monthly support and gifts. This money was distributed through 55 different sending agencies here in America and sent to 88 different missionaries. The support was used in 27 countries! The ministry is currently receiving about $7,550 each month in donations. As of 12/31/08 there was $17,340 in the checkbook and $20,498 in the savings account.

The Omega Ministry has also made progress in the area of promotion and advertising. The Omega Ministry website (http://www.wyldewood.org/omega//) has complete information about the ministry, including an application form that missionaries from around the world can fill out and send in. We post updated report letters about how the national pastors are being blessed and helped with the Omega funding. Omega now has new informational brochures, some new supporting churches, and a professional display for use at mission conferences. We have completed the power point presentation for use by Brother Paul Buskager as they travel and present this ministry around the United States. We are nearly done with a similar presentation for Brother W. R. Workman. Current support from churches is about $700 monthly.
