Our Pastor

 

Pastor__Mrs._KingPastor Randy King was born and raised in the Oshkosh area on a dairy farm. When he was 17 years old he heard the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time at a small Baptist church in Oshkosh called Southside Baptist Church. At the age of 18, in December of 1969, he trusted Christ and was baptized at Southside Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Howard Nelson he became the youth director in 1971 and served in that capacity until 1988. In February of 1988, Pastor Nelson officially resigned as pastor and began a ministry to the Scandinavian countries. Pastor King was chosen as the new pastor, and the church has continued to grow under his leadership. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Religious Education and he has the Master of Ministry degree from Northland Baptist Bible College in Pembine, Wisconsin. He is presently enrolled in the Doctoral program there. He has traveled extensively in the United States and to several foreign countries ministering the gospel. Pastor King serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools and Independent Baptist Missions for Asians. He also oversees each of the various ministries of Wyldewood Baptist church, including the Omega Ministry, First Light Baptist Mission, Wyldewood Christian school, the Bible publishing ministries, and Wings as Eagles. He and his wife Lori have 6 children and 11 grandchildren.

 



Assistant Pastor - Youth

 

Pastor__Mrs._Brenenstuhl

Pastor Jason Brenenstuhl was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He was saved at the age of 5 in family devotions while he and his family were attending Cleveland Baptist Church under Dr. Roy Thompson. He surrendered his life for missions at the age of 17 and God led him to Fairhaven Baptist College where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Missions and is currently working on his Masters Degree. He met his wife, Heather, (daughter of Larry Ingalls - Baptist Couriers for Christ ministry out of Wyldewood) at college. They spent the next 10 years as missionaries in Zambia, Africa where they were able to work with three different churches as well as having a public school ministry. God led them back to the States in 2007, where he worked as Assistant Pastor/ School Principal to Dr. Rodger Bottrell in Lyons, New York. God has  led Jason and his family to Wyldewood Baptist Church where he is currently working with the teens.

 

 


 

School Principal

 

Mr. Clayton is a life long resident of Wisconsin. He was born and raised in Madison, where he received his elementary

and high school education. Upon his graduation he attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he received his degree in Secondary Education. He relocated in 1973 to the Fox Valley where he taught at Appleton East High School. Shortly after he trusted Christ as his personal Savior in September of 1973 he joined Southside Baptist Church of Oshkosh. In 1975 Mr. Clayton surrendered to God's call to the ministry and he was ordained in February of 1977. He and has served as the principal of Wyldewood Christian School since its inception in 1975. Brother Clayton married the former Jackie Nelson (daughter of former pastor Howard Nelson), in 1974 and they have five children.

 

 

 

 


Assistant Pastor

 

Pastor__Mrs._Souza

Jim Souza was born and raised in Massachusettes. While studying engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusettes he visited Victory Baptist Church in his hometown of Fairhaven. After attending services for several Sundays, Jim went forward for salvation during an invitation. Immediately he began to grow and became involved in soulwinning and other ministries of the church. Two years later, at the age of 24, he surrendered for full time Christian service. He enrolled in the missions program at Fairhaven Baptist College in Chesterton, Indiana where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1992. It was at Fairhaven where Jim met his wife Amanda. They have four children, Virginia, Jacqueline, Levi and Jacob. Jim served as assistant pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Cranberry, Pennsylvania for 5 years before the Lord led him to Wyldewood in 2001. His responsibilites at Wyldewood include overseeing the bus ministry, Sunday school department, and children’s church and organizing special events. He is also director of Wyldewood Baptist Bible Institute.
